Tantalise dad’s tastebuds with “Treasured Flavours of Singapore”, an a la carte buffet lunch at White Rose Café. It features a spread of 25 dishes that showcase the rich diversity of Singapore’s various ethnic cooking styles from the classic sambal kangkong to the flavourful beef rendang. A must-try is the restaurant’s signature Fish Head Curry, prepared according to a closely-guarded recipe from Soon Heng Restaurant from the 1970s! Round up the meal with a bevy of local desserts that include chendol, ice kachang, cheng tng, chin chow with palm seeds, and the newly added sago gula Melaka, a delightful bowl of chewy pearl sagos drenched in sweet gula melaka (palm sugar) and decadent coconut milk. $36 per adult (minimum two adults) and $18 per child aged between 5 and 11. For one day only on Father’s Day, Mad About Sucre is offering diners the “Father’s Day Burger Eat Out”. Grab a burger made from freshly-baked buns and premium meats off a range of menu choices from surf to turf! Check out the seafood burger, chockfull of wild-caught fresh prawn roll, tobiko, caramelised onions, grilled tomatoes, lettuce, garlic aioli and bookended with house-made sesame brioche buns. For more bite, the classic beef burger packs a tasty punch with its 200g wagyu beef patty, bacon and sunny side egg. Vegan choices are also available. All burgers are served with salad and house-cut potato wedges. $56 per diner, includes one burger of choice and one handcrafted vanilla/dark chocolate milkshake. Treat dad to an afternoon of gastronomic delights at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore with their “Father’s Day Brunch at 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung”. Curated by Michelin-starred chef Alvin Leung, the one-day brunch features delectable dishes, free-flow bubbly and Aloha-themed cocktails. Come prepared to tuck into mouthwatering creations such as hot smoked salmon, milk-fed veal rack, XO fried rice, roasted goose, chili mud crab and baked halibut. If dad is a fan of Italian cuisine, hit up GEMMA’s Sunday Fiorentina Brunch where he can enjoy slabs of delicious 30-day dry-aged steaks charcoal-grilled to perfection and served with free flow prosecco and Tuscan wines. Also available are a notable selection of Italian antipasti that bring to mind the warm climes of the Tuscan Hills, from challans duck prosciutto to homemade pasta such as spaghetti ‘monograno felicetti’and cacio e pepe! $128 per person.
