This year, we will be holding our Annual General Meeting on 29 May 2024, Wednesday at the Fort Canning Lodge (YWCA). I am eager to connect with you in person at this significant event. You would have read about the recent release of the Annual Road Traffic Situation 2023 by Singapore Police Force that as traffic volumes rose after COVID-19 measures were lifted in 2022, the number of traffic accidents also increased.
Whether you are driving in Singapore or abroad, it is crucial to always exercise patience, graciousness, stay alert, belt up and follow traffic rules during your journey.
Maintaining focus, staying alert and practicing defensive driving behind the wheel are essential practices for safe driving. Never use a mobile phone while driving or any activity that diverts your attention from the task of driving. No matter your destination or plans, prioritise safe driving practices to ensure the safety of your loved ones and other road users.
