Because of its history and heritage, Seletar Aerospace Park is a charming enclave that offers surprisingly good dining options.
There is something that is rather incongruous in Seletar Aerospace Park. Despite its futuristic name, the park has few modern structures, and is actually home to numerous heritage buildings.
That’s because, in the 1920s, the British colonial government developed the area to house a Royal Air Force (RAF) Station that served Singapore from 1928–1971. The RAF personnel and their families lived in those quaint but spacious black-and-white bungalows, some of which were later slated for conservation as part of The Oval at Seletar Aerospace Park. These bungalows now house restaurants, spas and shops. Here are some dining spots to check out.

Located on the upper storey of the building, the restaurant serves farm-to-table cuisine in which fresh, seasonal produce are married with simple yet refined techniques to create innovative flavours.

Among its specialties are the pickled and slow-cooked lamb shoulder, and smoked butter-poached snapper. Brined with pink salt and slow-cooked for 12 hours, the lamb is paired with a sweet potato mash. The snapper is cooked sous vide to a buttery texture and served with a seaweed beurre blanc.
