Dear AA Members,

Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all our Muslim friends!

Following the Phase 2 of Safe-Reopening announcement by the Multi-Ministerial Taskforce, Singapore is gradually re-opening its economy in a three-phased approach to resume activities safely. However, as part of the community, we must play our part in observing safe distancing measures. Members can be assured that the Association has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we have implemented heightened measures for the safety of everyone.

Members who visit our outlets are required to scan the SafeEntry QR code before entering and departing our premises. To ensure that our outlets remain safe for our visitors, cleaning and disinfecting at high-traffic areas and all contact points are carried out at intervals. Hand sanitisation procedures for all visitors will also be implemented. We would like to take this chance to assure all visitors that the Association has been conducting temperature screening twice daily for all staff, to safeguard the interests of our Members, staff and the community.

In line with the Phase 2 of Safe-Reopening, I am pleased to share that the Association have resumed the following services on 19 June 2020, while complying to the measures imposed by the Government:

  • Motoring Services which include Scrap Car Service, Technical Advice, Car Evaluation, Car Valuation and Pre-Trip Inspection.
  • Membership Services
  • AA Insurance (AAS-IA) Services
  • AA Outlets at AA Centre, GB Point and 51@AMK

For the full list of AA’s services resumption, Members may refer to our website for further information.

During the Circuit Breaker period, we have organised an array of Members-exclusive complimentary webinars and online classes. Webinars such as ‘ECO-Driving’, ‘Travel Photography Class’ and even ‘HIIT & Conditioning Fitness Class’ were planned and taught by professional trainers and instructors. We hope that these classes could benefit our Members, even during these times when you are staying at home.

The Association has also launched a battery promotion for all Members who require battery replacement during this period. In addition to the battery promotion, AA introduced an onsite battery diagnostic service, where Members could enjoy the this service at your convenience as AA’s battery specialist will conduct the onsite battery checks at your preferred location.

To support Members who are resuming back to work during Phase 1 of the Post-Circuit Breaker period, we have launched an AA Membership Safe Re-opening promotion. The Association has designed this promotion to cater to those who require Roadside Assistance Service and AA will be there to assist you.

We have continued our AA Spot Your Car (SYC) contest via online so that you can continue to participate in our contests! During this period, you may simply drop us an SMS, and you will stand a chance to win attractive prizes. Do keep a lookout on our social media – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more information!

In view of the safe distancing measures and to safeguard the interests of our Members, we are now working on the details of organising a virtual Annual General Meeting and details will be released in the month of August. Do keep a look out of the information on our AA website and Highway. Members will also receive notification of the Annual General Meeting via electronic means. Members are advised to update your details at https://www.aas.com.sg/forms/ to ensure a smooth registration and verification process to access the virtual Annual General Meeting. Alternatively, Members may also contact us at 6333 8811 or email us at aasmail@aas.com.sg for any particulars update.

We thank you for your support and trust in us during this period. Stay safe, calm and vigilant at all times.

I would like to take this chance to wish everyone a Happy National Day in advance!

Best wishes,
Bernard Tay
President, AA Singapore
