March/April Edition

Dear AA Members,

I’m pleased to share that the Association’s annual Member-Get-Member (‘MGM’) programme is back. From now till 31 December 2021, each AA Member is entitled to receive a $10 AA Gift Voucher for every successful Membership referral. For multiple successful referrals, you may even receive a Membership extension or a complimentary motor insurance with AAS Insurance Agency (‘AAS-IA’). To find out more details about the MGM Programme, visit our website here.

Besides the highly-raved MGM programme, we have also rolled out a AA Membership online sign-up/renewal campaign from now till June 2021! This campaign allows AA Members who signed up or renewed their AA Membership successfully via the AA Membership online application to stand a chance in winning attractive prizes. With an array of Membership promotions rolling out for you, we hope that our Members will enjoy these savings while we continue serving your motoring needs.

The Association is constantly designing new benefits for our Members, in view of providing a well-rounded Membership services. In collaboration with Caltex Singapore, AA has rolled out a Be A Superstar Contest for our Members. You can enjoy up to 24.4% off petrol purchase at any Caltex service stations, and even stand a chance to win attractive prizes when you spend a minimum of $60 gross petrol with your AA Membership e-card!

As an advocate of road safety, the Association is actively participating and coming up with new initiatives to shape a better and more holistic society. AAS-IA introduced Singapore’s first Commercial Personal Mobility Devices (‘PMD’) Insurance coverage – the only third-party liability insurance products that cover riding for commercial purposes which meet LTA’s requirements for an approved policy. This policy aims to protect PMD users from costs and expenses that they may incur due to third-party liabilities arising from the negligent use of PMD. At the same time, pedestrians can also be protected from errant pmd users. Now, PMD users can sign up for a AA Personal Mobility Plus coverage, with added benefits such as a complimentary 1-year Social Membership as well as a PMD & Bicycle Safety Course!

With the March holidays around the corner, AA is organising an array of activities for you and your young ones. From the Bridges and Magnetism STEAM Programme, your child will be encouraged to learn and build sturdy bridges for toy cars. Combining the understanding and utilisation of engineering concepts, young participants can gain a deeper knowledge about the properties of magnetism! One other programme that the Association will be organising, is the Gardening Workshop. Designed as a parent-child bonding activity, this terrarium-making workshop encourages participants’ creativity and help young children cultivate green fingers from a young age.

In view of the safe distancing measures and to safeguard the interests of our Members, the Association will be organising a virtual Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) and details will be released in the month of April. Do keep a look out of the information on our AA website and Highway. Members will also receive notification of the AGM via electronic means. Members are advised to update your details at www.aas.com.sg/forms to ensure a smooth registration and verification process to access the virtual AGM. Alternatively, Members may also contact us at 6333 8811 or email us at aasmail@aas.com.sg for any particulars update.

We thank you for your support and trust in us during this period. Stay safe, calm and vigilant at all times.

Best wishes,
Bernard Tay
