Following the success of award-winning movie – Avatar, our AutoventureTM (AV) team organised a 36 days drive to the famous “Hallelujah Mountains”, which was inspired from the Huangshan mountains in Zhangjiajie, China.
Departing from Singapore, the convoy drove past Malaysia, Thailand and Laos within a week, and safely reached Kunming, China on the 8th day of their trip. Other than visiting Zhangjiajie, some other notable cities that the convoy passed by includes Li Jiang, Shangri-La, Chengdu and Chong Qing!
En route, the convoy even caught a glimpse of China’s national animal, Giant Panda, at the panda sanctuary! The 36 days drive was no easy feat as the participants had to overcome climate changes between regions. It was an exciting yet fulfilling trip indeed!
